Some grey market dealers are avoiding the topic…the crash of the luxury watch market. Is it inevitable?
Well, even though the market hasn’t crashed yet, the prices of popular models of most high end brands like Patek Philippe, Rolex and Audemars Piguet have seen their prices slip 5%, 10%, and more. This is in direct contrast to the multi-year, record-breaking rise that we’ve seen across the board (and don’t get me started with Richard Mille! If their sales data wouldn’t be so hard to come by, I think we’ll be seeing drops north of 20% flash across the RM ticker tape!).
During episode 56 of CRM Life, the fear in the air is starting to become noticeable, as evident by the amount of calls we’re getting from watch collectors trying to sell us their watches. Given the fact that people tend to get overly emotional during times like these, we’re holding off on buying any watch unless it’s an extremely good deal. It’s no secret that we loaded up on Pateks during the last IWJG Watch Show in Miami. Why hide it? We’re all about the transparency in these neck of the woods! 
But hey, not all is doom and gloom during episode 56 of our little homemade Miami reality series. You’ll get to see plenty of crazy Cuban family interactions, fan and client interactions at the store, and even Charlie’s presentation of some of our new accessories!
Remember that at the end of the day, family trumps bull and bear markets combined!
